As the inventor, mother of three and grandmother of the perfect grandson, I welcome you to read a little history about Flipple. This is my story and the foundation of my “American Dream.”

It was a scorching hot summer day in Missouri when my kids, grandson and I loaded into our boat and took off for an adventure on Mark Twain Lake. After some enjoyable cruising, it was time to find shade, anchor and enjoy lunch on the water. It was then we realized the baby bottles were not in the cooler and there was no place to buy a baby bottle. After freaking out for awhile, we realized the cooler was full of bottled water and we did the best we could to funnel the formula into the bottles… wasting a lot. He was able to drink from the bottle but not without spilling down the front of him. We toted around a soggy baby all afternoon, which was fine because he was in his swimsuit anyway.

With necessity being the mother of invention, creative thinking began after this precarious situation and collaboration began on the idea of adding formula and a nipple to a bottled water. This seemed like a sure fix to any emergency situation since municipal water quality is sometimes questionable and bottled water is always available.
